Sentra measures roads, junctions, car parks and stations from the cameras already installed. Cities, road authorities and operators of stations and car parks get counts, turning movements, free spaces per row and incident alerts with evidence.

Existing roadside cameras
Sentra connects to cameras on poles, gantries and buildings through standard protocols and imports existing recorders with their channels. Live video, pan, tilt and zoom control and videowalls give the control room one view of the network.
Counts and parking
Arms drawn on each approach of a junction count vehicles from each arm to each exit, by class, with a CSV export. Counting lines give vehicles per hour by class. Bays on a car park camera report free spaces per row. Plate reading records each vehicle with a photo and raises alerts from a watchlist.
Incidents and public space
A person on the ground in a station or an underpass and loitering on a platform at night raise alerts with a snapshot and a clip. Unattended luggage and vehicles crossing an alarm line raise the same alerts. Heatmaps show where people walk and where they stop.
Figures with coverage stated
Each count carries a coverage figure, gaps are shown as gaps, and figures are aggregated before they leave the engine.
Reports carry the authority's name and logo as PDF or CSV and are emailed on a schedule. Evidence of an incident is exported as a signed package that verifies offline.

Sentra runs on a server you own or hosted by Sentra. Each engine keeps working through link outages, and capacity grows by adding nodes as cameras are added. The pages, the rules and the retention are the same in both cases.
