Sentra Self Hosted
Sentra Self Hosted is the Sentra platform installed on a server you own. It connects existing cameras, recorders and sensors in one console. One GPU server in your building or data center runs the platform, sized from the number of cameras, and video stays on your network. The same software runs on a server you own or hosted by Sentra.
Live Video and Videowalls
Connected cameras in one grid, from a single view up to 4x4, with PTZ control and presets, a live AI overlay on the single camera view and the reason shown when a source is down. Operators build a videowall once, assign a camera to each cell and open it on a control room display with a browser. Existing recorders are added as one device and their channels imported in one operation.
Sites, locations and maps
Cameras and sensors are grouped by site and area, each with its own time zone, so recording schedules, counter resets and reports use the local clock. Each device carries an address and coordinates chosen on a map picker, so equipment is found by place as well as by name. Cameras not yet placed are listed as a backlog and moved in bulk.

AI detection and analytics
A GPU engine on the server analyzes each connected camera, detecting people, vehicles, bags and animals and tracking each one as it moves. One detection pass per camera feeds alarm lines, loitering, unattended luggage, person down, counting, parking, turning movements, heatmaps, plate reading and search across cameras. The analytics run server side, so there are no AI licenses per camera.
Cameras, recorders and sensors
One inventory of connected devices, with technical status, placement and operational state. Cameras are enrolled through a guided wizard that tests the stream before the camera is saved. Environmental sensors add air quality monitoring and the detection of vaping, THC, aggression and calls for help in rooms where a camera is not acceptable.

Recordings, reports and evidence
Recording runs per camera: continuous, on a schedule or on events, with retention from one to ninety days. On the timeline, footage can be kept, downloaded or exported as a signed evidence package that verifies offline. Six report kinds carry your name and logo, as PDF or CSV, emailed on demand or on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule.
Alerts and notifications
Alerts arrive in one inbox: AI detections, behavior analytics, line crossings, sensor events, counting thresholds and plate watchlist hits, each with a severity, a snapshot and a clip. Operators acknowledge for the team, confirm or reject detections with a reason, and set personal rules for what reaches them on screen, by email or as a push notification in the mobile app.

Security, audit and data protection
Access is defined by rights: five built in roles or your own, with an optional camera list per person, enforced on each read path. An audit trail kept for two years records each setting changed, recording opened and export, and cannot be changed from the console. Counts and heatmaps leave the engine only as aggregates, the person level search index is kept for two days, and exported evidence is signed and verifies offline.
Integration and API
Sentra exposes its product API through a single gateway that authenticates each request, applies roles and keeps internal routes closed. Outbound webhooks deliver full event data to dispatch, access control or ERP systems. Cameras and recorders connect over standard streaming and discovery protocols, PTZ control uses the native interfaces of the major camera manufacturers, and sign in runs through enterprise single sign on using open standards.

See it on your own cameras
A demo can run on your cameras or on a Sentra demo site, self hosted or hosted by Sentra. Tell us which events and figures you need, and we prepare it.
