Works with what you own
Sentra connects to any camera, recorder, sensor, barrier or access control system with a network interface. Standard protocols work out of the box, everything else is integrated as part of the project, and no device needs a license of its own.

RTSP, RTSPS and ONVIF for cameras, H.264 and H.265, pan, tilt and zoom with presets.
A camera, a recorder or a sensor is added by its address.
Channels are imported from the recorder, and its disks stay the storage behind them.
Barriers, access systems and new sensor families are integrated as part of the project.

Cameras
Any IP camera that streams RTSP or RTSPS, or is ONVIF conformant, is added by its address and credentials. The stream is probed and its codec, resolution and frame rate are reported before the camera goes live, with the stream chosen per camera. Analogue cameras connect through a recorder or an encoder.
- H.264 and H.265, with a warning when a substream is the better choice for playback
- Pan, tilt and zoom over the standard protocol, with presets saved on the camera or in the platform
- Analytics built into the camera are taken into the same alert inbox
Recorders
A network or digital video recorder is added like a camera: Sentra imports its channels and shows them in the same grids, walls and search. Where the recorder has an integrated interface, footage on the recorder's own disks is played back from the Sentra timeline, so an existing recorder keeps its role as storage. Other recorders expose their channels over RTSP or the standard protocol.
- Per camera choice: record on the Sentra server, on the recorder, or not at all
- Footage recorded in H.265 is converted on request and starts playing while it converts
- A recorder that goes offline is reported with its cameras

Plate reading
The Sentra engine reads plates on cameras with a view of the plate, without a dedicated reader. Reads from an existing plate reader or plate reading camera join the same visit history and watch list.
- One record per visit, with the image of the read
- Confidence shown on every read; unreadable plates are kept as evidence only
- Formats validated for Romania and around forty other countries
Barriers and access control
A barrier, gate or turnstile opens from a plate read, a card or an operator click, through its relay input or its network controller, and every passage is kept with the decision, the reason and the picture. An existing access control system connects through its own interface, so a door opened in the access system appears next to the camera that saw it.
- Each entrance on one card: reader, relay, boom and the last vehicles through
- Manual open by a guard, with the name written to the trail
- Lists of allowed vehicles with validity dates and the entrances they open

Sensors
Environmental and safety sensors join the same alert inbox as the cameras: air quality, smoke and vape, noise and aggression, occupancy from thermal counters. A sensor is enrolled by its address, polled on a schedule, and linked to the camera that covers the way in and out of its room.
- Any sensor with a network interface; a new family is added as part of the project
- Thresholds managed from the console and events with a beginning and an end
- A sensor that stops answering raises one alert
