Education
Sentra sends alerts from a school's cameras and sensors to the staff on duty. Cameras cover corridors, stairwells, the yard and the gates. Sensors cover the rooms where a camera is not acceptable. Alerts reach the duty teacher or the guard on the phone, recordings are opened only by authorized people, and every access is written to the audit trail. The platform runs on a server the school owns or hosted by Sentra.

Vaping, smoke, aggression and calls for help detected without an image.
An area drawn on the stairwell camera raises an alert when someone stays on the ground.
Counting lines give occupancy per corridor and an alert when a threshold is passed.
Who opened which recording, and when, kept for two years.

Toilets and locker rooms
Sensors detect vaping, smoke, aggression and calls for help in rooms where a camera is not acceptable, with no image captured. Thresholds are managed from the console. The corridor camera linked to the sensor provides the picture of the way in and out, so an event has context without a camera in the room.
- Events with a beginning and an end, resolved when the reading returns to normal
- Air quality, temperature and humidity readings kept as a history
- A sensor that stops answering raises one alert
Stairwells and corridors
A person down area drawn on the stairwell camera raises an alert when someone stays on the ground longer than the time set, and clears itself when the spot is empty. Counting lines at the ends of a corridor give its occupancy and an alert when a threshold is passed during breaks.
- Time on the ground and sensitivity set per area
- Loitering zones at the back entrances, with a dwell time
- Alerts with a snapshot and a clip, on the desk and on the phone

Gates, the yard and the perimeter
Alarm lines at the gates and along the fence raise an alert when a person crosses after hours. Plate reading on the gate camera records each vehicle and checks it against a watch list. Yard heatmaps show where pupils gather during breaks.
- Alarm lines with a direction, drawn on the camera picture
- Vehicles on an allowed list open a barrier without a guard
- Yard heatmaps by day, week or month
Roles
Each person holds one role. The guard sees the live cameras and the alert inbox, the duty teacher receives alerts on the phone, management sees reports, and an auditor reads recorded footage and nothing else.
- Five built in roles, plus custom roles from the same list of rights
- Sign in through the school's identity provider
- The engine does not identify pupils by their faces

Incident records
An incident is kept as an alert with its picture, the recording around it and the notes of the person who handled it. Footage needed for a case is kept beyond its retention, and an evidence package is exported with a signature that can be verified outside the platform.
- Retention per camera, from one to ninety days
- Every view of a recording written to the audit trail
- Reports on a schedule, by email, with the month's events

A demo can run on your cameras or on a Sentra demo site, self hosted or hosted by Sentra. Tell us which events and figures you need, and we prepare it.
