Public sector
Sentra runs video surveillance and analytics for public institutions on their existing cameras. Footage stays on a server the institution owns or in an isolated tenant hosted by Sentra in Romania. Staff sign in through the institution's identity provider, every view and export is written to the audit trail, and evidence leaves the platform as a signed package.

Self hosted on the institution's server, or hosted by Sentra in an isolated tenant in Romania.
Sign in through OpenID Connect, one role per person and an optional camera list.
Views, exports and setting changes recorded, including refused attempts.
The engine works on objects, counts and events, not on identities.

Several buildings in one organization tree
City halls, schools, hospitals and public buildings sit in one organization tree. The central administration sets modules, retention and alert rules once, and each building runs its own cameras and people. Existing cameras and recorders are connected through the standard protocols.
- Five built in roles and custom roles from the same list of rights
- A person limited to the cameras of one building
- Console in Romanian and English
Audit trail
Every view of a recording, every export and every change to a setting is written to an audit trail kept for two years. An auditor role reads recorded footage and the trail and nothing else, and the trail is filtered by person, device or action.
- Refused attempts recorded with the actions that went through
- Trail downloaded for an inspection
- Scheduled reports by email, per department

Retention monitoring
Retention is set per camera, and the system health view lists the cameras whose footage is kept for less time than the policy says. A gap in retention is found when it starts, before an inquiry needs the footage.
- Promised and actual retention per camera
- A warning in the attention list when footage is removed early
- Retention set per camera, from one to ninety days
Evidence for an inquiry
An evidence export is a signed package with the footage, the cameras, the period and the reason, and its signature verifies outside the platform. Footage needed for a case is kept beyond its retention, and retention is set per camera from one to ninety days.
- The reason is recorded with every export
- Keeping footage beyond retention is a right of its own
- Retention per camera

Rooms where a camera is not allowed
Sensors detect vaping, smoke, aggression and calls for help in toilets, locker rooms and other rooms where a camera is not acceptable, with no image captured. Their events arrive in the same alert inbox as the cameras.
- Thresholds managed from the console
- Events with a beginning and an end
- Air quality and temperature readings kept as a history
Car parks and public space
Plates are read on existing cameras for barriers at public car parks, bays drawn on the camera picture give free spaces per row, and counting lines measure visitors at entrances and footfall in squares.
- Allowed lists open barriers without a guard
- Free bays per row, live
- Counts with a coverage figure

A demo can run on your cameras or on a Sentra demo site, self hosted or hosted by Sentra. Tell us which events and figures you need, and we prepare it.
